I live on a small island off the coast of Maine. Happily married for 30 years this January, and by now all three girls are grown and off studying somewhere.
I have a boat named Hope that was designed for catching lobsters and so far she does a pretty good job of it.

Love your new website. You are very eloquent, my brother.
Great blog, Ted! I’m sprading your word in switzerland 🙂
Thanks, Mark! Hey, when Steve comes over, keep him away from the surfboards. Love to Chrigi.
Thanks for your so restful and eloquent site. Can you give me the permission to use the magnificent photo of the sea , looking horizon from offshore?
Sure, if it’s for personal use. That’s Mount Desert Island from about 10 miles out.
Because of your Peanut’s references, I’m following this blog.
Thanks, Anjum. I’ll try to put up a few from time to time. Calvin & Hobbes shows up here too.
WOO!
I don’t mean to make it out that I’m primarily read your blog for the comics, I just satisfied with the fact that I can trust the words of someone who at least gained an ounce of wisdom from Watterson and Schulz.
